3. Protect from Sun Exposure: Minimize sun exposure and avoid tanning beds to prevent skin sensitivity. Sunburned or sun-damaged skin may not be suitable for a chemical peel.

Important Post-Treatment Instructions:

That evening - leave the Jessner Peel on all night. 

Avoid Picking the Skin: Resist the urge to pick at the skin during the peeling process. Premature removal can lead to prolonged healing, infection, and potential scarring.

Day 1-2: In the morning, wash your face and apply sunscreen if exposed to direct sunlight. For best results opt for a mineral powder sunscreen.

Avoid touching the skin excessively. The skin may appear frosted until lubricant is applied, and it may resemble a slight sunburn. Avoid heat and excessive sweating during the first 2 days. Refrain from using makeup or shaving until the peeling process is complete.

Evening of Day 1-2: Gently cleanse your face.

Day 3: Gently cleanse your face twice a day with a mild natural cleanser. Avoid rubbing the skin, as it may feel tight and dry. 

Day 4-6: Continue cleansing twice a day and use sunscreen when exposed to direct sunlight, consider a hat. During peeling, the skin may feel tight, but never attempt to peel off the skin; allow it to shed naturally.

Day 7-8:The peeling process typically completes by day 7 or 8. Once skin sensitivity diminishes, you may resume your normal, gentle, and acid-free skincare routine.

Day 8-10: The peeling should be complete by this time. You can gently exfoliate your face to remove any remaining dead skin cells.
