Better Absorption
With the number of digestive concerns people have these days, choosing drips and injections can ensure proper absorption of essential vitamins, nutrients, and minerals that might not otherwise be obtained through diet or supplementation alone.
Fast Acting
Intravenous administration of vitamins allows us to correct for intracellular deficiencies quickly. Cellular deficiencies are not reflected on bloodwork helping us explain why some people feel significantly better despite "ok" bloodwork.
More Nutrients
Vitamin drips and injections allow us to reach a therapeutic dose that can be either difficult or impossible to reach with diet and/ or oral supplementation alone. Higher doses of some nutrients, vitamins, and minerals allows for faster results and deeper healing.

Understanding Vitamin Drips
A Myers Cocktail is named after the pioneer and doctor John Myers, MD. He used a combination of vitamins and minerals to treat conditions like: asthma, migraines, fatigue, fibromyalgia, upper respiratory tract infections, chronic sinusitis, seasonal allergies, anxiety, painful and/or irregular periods, skin rashes, athletic performance, depression, etc.
He encouraged 4 weekly infusions, followed by 1-2 monthly treatments. He found these treatments to be helpful to his patients for years on end. At EASTND we model Myer's approach, but are mindful that each individual is very different and their response to the infusions will be different. After an initial series of infusions, the frequency of treatments is often decided by our clients.
The Myer's cocktail has been presented at medical conferences for the past 16+ years despite the small number of published research articles, yet the ones that have been conducted show efficacy and there continues to be growing literature around the use of high doses of specific vitamin/minerals like Vitamin C.
The theoretical basis for IV Vitamin Drips is that serum concentrations obtained by IV vs. oral supplementation is significantly higher allowing for the correction of intracellular deficiencies. This is not something that is typically measured in standard bloodwork and is plausible reason to explain why those who have "fine" bloodwork, feel substantially better once initiating treatments. Initially, the vitamins and minerals are thought to leak out of the cells explaining why some people feel good for a day or two but then lose the effects. Increased frequency of treatment, especially at the beginning is important to prevent this. Over time and with more frequent treatments, the cells become saturated in vitamins and minerals allowing someone to sustain their results for longer periods of time, ultimately leading to less frequent treatments.
